There are many ways to support Light Farms Elementary throughout the year and we will continue to update this page along with emails and social media posts. We encourage volunteers to join our PTO to get first access to all these opportunities and it is another way to help our incredible school. It is the policy of PISD that ALL volunteers complete the district Volunteer Background Check EACH YEAR and clearance is necessary before being allowed to volunteer in any capacity.

​The district processes all background checks and it can take up to two weeks to get clearance. Because you share the same concerns about student safety, we know you understand why there will be no exceptions to this important rule. If you have any questions about this policy or your application, please contact the PISD Administration.
